A new lease of life for my books

As you know, I was bitterly disappointed when Satalyte shut up shop as it might have meant the end of my admittedly short career as a publi...

About Me

My photo
I am a writer, editor, reviewer and dance teacher based in Perth, Western Australia.

My books

The first novel of my trilogy, The Talismans, is available as e-books from Smashwords, Amazon and other online sellers. I do have paperbacks of The Dagger of Dresnia at the low price of $AU25 including postage within Australia. I also have a short story, 'La Belle Dame', in print - see Mythic Resonance below. Book two of the trilogy, The Cloak of Challiver, will be available again shortly. The best way to contact me is via Facebook!

Buy The Talismans

The first two books of The Talismans trilogy were published by Satalyte Publications, which, sadly, has gone out of business. I hope to see my books back on Amazon under a new publisher in the near future.

A lesson with laughs for the would-be writer

Another one from Bibliobibuli.

You don't normally see any ads on my blog, right? So what's this?
It's a screamer of a book, complete with examples, that teaches you how to write a really, really, bad novel. You might also enjoy the website the authors have set up - be sure to watch the bookfomercial, do the quiz to see how much you would benefit from reading the book and check out the apocrypha.
If you're like me, you'll have a good laugh.

I don't think I will be reading it as I don't intend to try and write a novel. I tried one factual book and then gave it up as a good job.

Unlike Jo I think I will be reading it because I am trying to write a novel ... or rather, just trying to write whatever.

It's an entertaining book for anyone who's ever tried to write, very tongue-in-cheek. On the authors' website there's a widget that I would have snaffled so you could link directly to the excerpts, but Blogger wouldn't accept the code - said there was a tag not closed. Damned if I could find one, and looked OK in preview. However, blogger rules...so check it out on the author's web site if you want to read excerpts.
